Drawing on more than a decade of Human Resources experience and the practical insights gained from building and operating a private psychology practice, The Practice Playbook was developed to provide practical, professionally designed resources that practice owners can confidently implement in their own businesses.

With more than a decade of Human Resources experience across the public health and government sectors, Melanie has supported organisations to build stronger workplaces through practical systems, clear processes and people-focused leadership.
Together with her husband, Melanie built and continues to operate Get Psych'd Youth Psychology, giving her firsthand experience of the opportunities and challenges involved in running a busy allied health practice.
The Practice Playbook brings these two worlds together—combining strategic HR expertise with the practical realities of private practice. Every resource has been developed with a focus on creating practical, professionally designed solutions that are not only compliant, but genuinely useful in everyday practice.
